Like to know if wii can go online after being modded.
Likewise how to know what is the firmware?
If a wii that is modded, can play original games?
Which is the latest firmware and how to install to the latest?

You mod a Wii by adding a chip inside the console.
However, Updates can disable a modded console.
So basically, the only way to know if your Wii is modded, you need to open it and check for additional chips and platines.
If the Wii is modded, you can still play original games. However some games will have a System Update on the disc, wich can disable the Chip or the Wii altogether.
You install the latest Firmware by going online and letting the Wii update in the Wii System settings.
