Clothing help and?

I'm a guy. 17 y.o.

1. I wear plaid shorts...what shirts look good with them? I only have two BLANK polos. I usually wear them with regular tshirts and i try to match them as much as possible.

2. I really want a pair of vans classic slip ons, but im not sure how i would wear them. I don't wear baggy pants. They're pretty loose fitted i guess. So my question is...Is it ok to wear them with 'loose fitted pants'? Or even plaid shorts? I would describe my clothing style as urban casual. I don't wear anything really flashy and out there. I wear classic black and white shoes.

3. Whats a good brand of jeans that are loose and comfortable? Something that i don't have to 'break in'. SOmething less than $40.

4. Last question...What's a good car for me? I live in a city where there is usually heavy snow during the winter. I want a honda accord or civic cause of their reliability. would they be good in the snow? I need something that gets more than 23 mpg.

Thanks for all your help!

    1) Plaid shorts are awesome. They look good with any kind of shirt as long as it matches to some degree. One of the ways I like to see guys wearing them is with a white button down that has the sleeves rolled up and is untucked, with flip flops.

    2) Classic vans look good with everything as long as they match.

    3) Bullhead jeans are like 30 bucks, they are from pacsun and come in all sorts of fits (its what my younger brother rocks and my ex did too and they both loved them)

    4) Try a honda fit I think it gets better miles then that. A scion also would too

As for cars in the snow - reliability is the key. Good tyres are a must, dont ever be tempted to buy cheap tyres just because they are cheap, that is a one way trip to a collision.

Honda / Volvo / Volkwagon are good cars. Don't buy an expensive car for your first car, stick to something small.

Colthes - Walk around your local Mall, check out the models in the clothing stores, look through some catalogues, see what looks good to you. You don't have to copy or buy a complete new wardrobe but you will get an idea of what works and what doesn't. Take into consideration your own phyisque, though that is not so important for a guy.

Plaid shorts, plain T, plain, check or stripe shirt.

    1. Plaid shorts have alot going on - so you should stick with simple colors and try to have your shirts match the colors in the shorts - just pick one color and wear that shirt. Short sleeve polos look especially good.

    2. It's definitley okay - I think the Vans style is supposed to be portrayed as Urban Casual.

    3. Abercrombie, Hollister, Buckle - I recommend Buckle.

    4. Sorry I'm a girl - the car subject is not my strong point.

    Hope I helped :D !

    1) Guys with muscle shirts. Don't like like homboi from the block.

    2) I've seen highschool kids wear tights pants with with vans, and hoodies. Urban style? Stay that way.

    3) Try Levi, I love them.

    4) Get an '94 acura. I want a '92 convertible mustang, (Yes, gas is coming out of my pay). OR a wrangler
