Teen Jobs w/ tips?

I'm a guy. 17 years old. I work at burger king right now with minimum wage at $7.95 in oregon.

What i was wondering was, what is a good job that i could get that people can tip me?

I was thinking applebees but im not sure how it works. What percentage of the tips do bussers get? I can't be a waiter 'cause im under 18. How does it work, please help!

I was also thinking about Dutch Bros. Because there are usually only like 2 people working so you can make some bank in tips during one day.

Any other suggestions please!!!

If it helps any, i'm great with people.

Also, the reason im looking for a job where i make tips is because i get paid every two weeks and its hard to keep up with gas, insurance, and other stuff, so a job with tips can really help me with that...

THANKS TO ALL!!!!

Have you tried working at a pizza shop? Depending on the isurance needs of the store, you may be able to deliver. My drivers usually earn between 40-120 dollars a night on tips alone.

I'm not quite sure how applebees work but the restaurant I used to work at left it up to the waitresses to tip the busboys. There'd be about 3 of them and 7-8 waitresses, pretty big place and gets really busy. I used to give them no less than 8 bucks, 10-15 if I felt like being really nice and if they really helped out my station and made good money that night. So multiply at least 8 by 7 waitresses busboys get at least 50 bucks a night. There are other restaurants though who pool tips, meaning they put it all in a jar and share it equally with everyone. So the tips varies by the policies of each restaurant. But I'm pretty sure they make money, and hey look at it this way, start off as a busboy and by the time you're 18 they can make you a waiter and you'll already be used to the stations/menu and all sorts of crap. Trust me serving people is a b*tch!! The money is the only thing that makes it worth it.

Stay where you're at and consider the management trainee program with Burger King when you are of legal age. You can then move up in management at other retail establishments as you continue in college, sometimes with tuition reimbursement. The grass isn't always greener on the other side and quite often when you take on tips you lose the stability of the minimum wage guarantee.

WelI I actually take surveys for cash. And yes they do pay as long as you know the good ones. I have some free survey sites that are very reliable just check out my profile by clicking my name or email me at annesurveys@hotmail.com for them. I only give sites that I've been paid by so you won't get scammed. They're all reliable and I've never had a problem with them. (I've been doing them for a year now) The best part is that anyone can do them and they're easy. You won't get rich but they definitely help with bills :)
