Question about import DVD Subs and Dub DVD Subs.?

Do the subs for the original import DVDs (such as the original anime releases from Japan) english subs ever the exactly the same as the R1 DVDs subs released here Stateside. I ask because I'm sort of wondering whether or not to buy Code Geass imported or just wait for the R1 releases (with the dub) when they come out. I would gladly appreciate an answer to my question, thanks in advance.

the english dub normally isn't as accurate as the english subs. But then sometimes there are some caption companys that do a really crappy job and the dub is more accurate. You should be able to check who did the caption/subs on the dvd.

It really depends on the show. If you can find a clip on the internet from that show and see how good the subs are then get the subs if they're good. If they're not good get the dubs.

If the Song is Japanese the sub is fine no longer dub even though it ruins the track (it additionally indicates it's made is America) however watch the truly anime in English so you do not have got to seem on the backside or best the whole time.
