How does prom work?

Most people take dates, but an ever growing trend is to go stag because then you don't feel obligated to one person if you aren't having that great of a time. There's dancing (normally a DJ) and often people go out for dinner, or food is held there ( depending on your school). There's also a photographer there. Sometimes people take pictures with their dates or hop into group pictures with their friends. Why don't you ask this girl if she wants to go with you? The sooner the better cause she'll need to get a dress/ shoes/ & most likely schedule an appoinment to get her hair done.

I can't really help you with the prom question because I haven't had my prom yet. BUT about the girl. You can see how she acts around you. Does she act nervous/giggly/really nice/has her friends around her a lot and gives them looks whenever you are around? It helps that you are a junior because younger girls are really happy/flattered if an older guy likes them. I know I would be happy if a junior liked me! (I'm a freshman too).

If you can't tell whether or not she likes you, just ask her to the prom.

ask her if she wants to go to the prom with you.

dont really stalk her,

but just be there when she looks lonely or if shes with a big group of couples,

and put your hands on her WAIST from behind.

slow dance a few times

and if shes comfortable with it,

tell her you like her.

if you go for a kiss,

make sure she looks accepting.

cuzz you dont want to be rejected.
