Problems with searching the web...?

I saw another person with the same problem on here, but the answers were stupid.

So I'll try myself.

Here lately when I've been searching things on Yahoo, Google, or wherever....I'll click the link to the websites that come up, and it will pop a window up adverstising whatever I searched, or even things completely irrelevant

Like for example, I search "dogs" and find a nice looking site. So I click the link and up comes a window saying things like "Find used Dogs here blah blah blah", or whatever. It doesn't matter what I search or which link I click, it ALWAYS does this. I end up having to copy and pasting the link to the site in my browser to get where I want to go. It's really annoying, and surely there's some way to fix it.

Update:

Yes I do have a popup blocker and it works very well. I almost never have to worry about the normal popups advertising things such as screensavers and winning ipods, etc.

And no, there is no "move on to site". No "skip this advertisement"

Update 2:

Hmm....well that's weird. This has been going on for days now, and right as I go to take screenshots to show you guys what's happening....it stopped. Now I can click any links and it take me straight where I want to go. That's really odd. Maybe all I had to do was complain about it and it magically stop? Haha. Still, I wonder what caused it before.

Umm Do you have a pop up-blocker?

Or Use Moxilla Firefox and there will be no more pop ups.

o if i get this correct every site you clicked has a advertisment before the real site. there should be a place to say move on to real site or an x but truely i dont theink there is anything to do about it since the owner of the site must have put it there.
