I think all country banned for organ trading except for iran. Correct me if im wrong. Its still not that terrifying when people sell organ to put food on the table but the consequences where countries with weaker legal system have people start kidnapping and killing people for their organ to be sold.

You never know what people can do for money.

However, as much as people may start to sell their organs for money, each time they sell, they might already have save a life.

So there's still prons and cons. :)

There are Pros and Cons to both sides of this topic. Some of the Pros would be that you could sell an unneeded organ, say a kidney, and make a heap of cash for it. Also people that sit on a transplant list forever could buy organs and be okay. But there are a ton of cons to it as well. As soon as you legalize the buying of organs you turn it into a privatized business and people that aren't rich will never get their organs. And what if you cant pay for the entire organ at once? People will look into financing organs, which sounds like a good idea, but what if you default on the loan? Does someone come along and take it back? (Repo: The genetic opera anyone?) Personally I don't feel the pros out weigh the cons.

There are some countries where I saw on tv such as INdia where poor people on the street sell their organs for as little as $4000 so that they can put food on the table. It usually ends up in the hands of rich americans because its hard to get organs here so they go elsewhere. Its probably not legal there but its not enforced. Of course Im sure China does it too. There was a problem there where they were killing their prisoners and then selling the organs but then again China is also a poor country. Mexico would be another where they do it.

There is only 1 nation in the world which legalized organ trade and its Iran but there are still not enough organ to save enough lives. I think if China really legalized it, then the trade will be in chaos and lots of diseases will spread. I think its very dangerous for China or any country to legalized the trade and its really important that the organ can get for willingly or even better, free of charge. Life worth more than anything, don't you agree?

Yeah, I like how SO many people who have NEVER been to China like to share their "knowledge" about it. Organ trading is not legal in China. There may be a black market (just like there is in other parts of the world), but it is not legal.

To make it legalized but a guideline have to there, so that people will not abuse it.

in my view, this will be a win win situation. which will saves a few lives between the need & needy. but must cut off the middleman. the donor will get a lump sum or pay in kind to look after his/her family.
