Democrat Steve Cohen compares Obama To Jesus Christ?
The other day on the House floor, while supposedly doing the people's work, Cohen referred to Obama as Jesus Christ and compared Palin to the official who killed him. The Almighty Obama claims he is his 'brother's keeper', but apparently this does not apply to his own half-brother who lives in abject squalor in Kenya. If Obama really is like Jesus Christ wouldn't he walk on water to cross the ocean to be his brother's keeper? Or is Cohen wrong?

MOOSE: ?=puzzlement. I'm puzzled how a member of the Democrat Party can stand before his colleagues and the American people and make such an outrageous statement!?
COMMENT to BeKind...The media, who chose Obama, now has to hide who he really is. So they've turned it into a popularity contest. We Americans depend on the media to give us a clear picture of the candidates, yet they shrug their responsibility to move their candidate forward. We are dupes of the news media.
The REAL question here, people, is: What ever happened to seperation of church & state? Or does that only apply to Republicans?

I'm so tired of the emotional stupidity displayed during this election. If these people would spend more time talking about their intentions for the country rather than talking about irrational comparisons to well known people and pitbulls, I might have some idea of who I want to vote for. At this point, I have no intention of voting for either of them. I'm hoping the debates have some substance because so far the media coverage has been like a televised version of the Enquirer.

Don't disrespect my Lord, Jesus Christ was a teacher, a preacher, not a community organizer.
Jesus Christ in the eyes of GOD was a perfect being. There is nothing perfect about Barry Soetoro, so please drop this ridiculous comparison. Cohen is Jewish, what does he know of our Jesus, the Jews condemned their own King, no wonder GOD made them wander in the desert for 40 yrs.

I heard the 'esteemed' Democrat Donna Brazil utter those same exact words on a news broadcast. It must be the new Democrat mantra. Are they crazy? I guess they're trying to appeal to the Evangelicals. Some how I smell a backfire.

it has no longer something to do with that distinctive republican spin. it is being reported via fact on the gop convention the republicans laughed at obama being a community organizer and that by using being a governor, palin has greater adventure. there is this form of biased opinion that democrats are actually not christians like "all" republicans are. to that end the subject remember of Jesus and pontius pilate. get it?
