Hotel check-in in the morning..?

The flight that we want to take departs at 6AM.. and we will arrive Vegas at 8AM. Can we check-in at our hotel right at that time?? Or do we have to wait until the ACTUAL hotel check-in time? =\ I never thought about that until now.

Update:

thanks.. just wanted re-assurance, i guess lol. i have heard of people having to wait.. that would suck! haha.

It depends upon whether the hotel has a room ready for you. In most cases, they can have you check-in early. Sometimes, they may need to clean up a room prior to your check-in, which can take about an hour or so, but most hotels will try to accomodate your request for the early arrival/check-in.

It depends what the hotel policy is, you say your flight arrives at 8am

that means it will be at least an hour possibly before you go through customs and arrive at your hotel

If you cannot check in at the time of arrival, most hotels allow you to leave your luggage while you can sit around and relax or do a bit of sight seeing

You will be able to occupy a room that is already empty, and that may be the most expensive room. Otherwise, the hotel will wait until the guests check out, and housekeeping can finish. That means, they could probably check you in a couple of hours earlier in a room that was cleaned first. Possibly not the one with the view.

Call the hotel and ask if you can leave your bags in their locked room until your room is ready, unless there is an open room that morning.

It will probably be too early to check in but the hotels usually try to accommodate guests. I f you can't check in, they will at least let you leave your bags there while you go touring.

Of course, you can check in at any time. Just make sure you check out before demanded time, because later can mean paying for one more day ;)
