did you see andy warhol's frankenstein in 1973?

at the theater it was shown in 3-d. it was rated one of the best movies shot in that format. it was more campy than scary, but i liked it. can you remember any particular scenes or lines?

The most famous line has to be "To know death you have to f*(k life in the gall bladder!"

I saw it in 3-D, which was used largely for shock value. I remember someone being run through with a pike and the end of it hung out over the audience with a piece of some internal organ hanging off of it. There was also a scene with a carriage driving through a forest and the 3-D made the trees look very separated and "deep".

    Funny stuff.

The comically gory finale is the main thing that sticks in my mind. The way the bodies piled up one by one, it seemed pretty clear it was intended as a spoof of the genre. I didn't see it in 3-D, but I can just picture the guts and gore coming out of the screen in certain scenes...definitely a campy movie.
