opening attached files in email?
pls help. i received an email with two attachments. one was pdf which was no problem, but the other was a form that ended in .doc. after downloading i tried to open but got word msg cannot load word for windows 6.0 files. can you help me? thank-you so much

You have a file that was prepared with a Word version that is newer than yours. You can get a Word reader from this site:
http://www.microsoft.com/reader/downloads/pc.mspx
You can also ask your sender to save the file with your format. They can do that through the File, Save As functions in Word.
