Insurance agent's service.?

I applied for insurance while I was healthy however due to the agents mistake I had to resubmit for approval about 6 months later and got it approved this time.

By this time I has some symptoms however not serious.

Can the insurance company refuse to pay up for the claims made and requests to sign exclusion?

It depends on the condition and the company, but yes they can refuse to pay for a pre-existing condition or to waiver or exclude it. It is your choice to accept those terms or refuse.

Technically, the agent represents you. So, the Insurance Company will not accept this argument. About the symptoms, it depends on whether the ailments are permanent or curable

all insurance agents must have "errors and omissions" insurance for this type of problem you can probably sue or make a huge fuss to the copporate company and you might get a deal cut.
