Cordless mouse/keyboard. Logitech- how do you tell if caps lock is on? No-where on keyboard or screen, is it?

It's a Logitech Internet Pro- bought about 1 1/2 years ago.  Problem is, when you type in a password and the screen blocks the type, you cannot tell if you hit the caps lock key by mistake.

Try this little utility-shows an icon in the tray when capslock is on; works fine

This FREEWARE application indicates the status for NUM LOCK, CAPS LOCK and SCROLL LOCK in your system tray... You can also set the NUM LOCK status at Windows startup to be on or off. From just a few click you can Turn on your screen saver or turn off you screen etc.... It's been tested on a Windows 2000 client and Windows XP as well...

On most Logitech receivers (the part that plugs into the computer), there are lights for caps lock, num lock, F-key lock, etc., like the ones on wired keyboards.

I believe if you look at the keyboard to the upper right above the numbers there is a small oval shaped "glass" with three symbols, a1, a "A" and a arrow down symbol.  If the A is lit up, the caps lock is on.

It's most likely on the receiver unit.

Can't you just type and see. Usually if you hit it you would not realise until you typed it in anyway. So does it really matter?
