I need some help on my philosophy paper...?
I'm writing a research paper on Dr. Kevorkian and physician assisted suicide. Furthermore, I will be using an ethical system such as virtue bases ethics or religious ethics, to base my conclusion and some parts of the body.
My question is: what are the "issues: definitions and conflicts" in this matter. One of the organizational topics was "solutions and outcomes."
So what is the issues in this case involving physician assisted suicides?
Appreciate any type of help.

The issues in this case involving physician assisted suicides has to do with euthanasia. Why is it okay to put animals out of misery and not humans, when animals really can't speak and say that they would prefer to die as a person can. Is it suicide if the desire to die is assisted by a physician or is it a reasonable choice?

I think in the past the physician was always supposed to promote life. He takes the Hippocratic oath. So assisted suicide is a conflict.
We need to change the definition of life. Life vs quality of life. Then define which side the physician is supposed to on. If he is on the side of quality life, assisted suicide is possible and there is your solution.
