HELP WITH MICROSOFT WORD?

OK, my puter had issues, and I had to dump and reload my software. Of course,,,, my son tossed the microsoft box with the freaking code key on it. Now, I have the software disk that came with the computer, but I don't have a code key.

What do I do now? Need to get this back up and running ASAP.

I know that it's illegal... But you bought MS office... I think you should try to find a CD key on the web...

Honestly, there are a few options here.

Call/email Microsoft. They may or may not help. I would suggest you try this first.

Dowload OpenOffice.org (http://openoffice.org/) OpenOffice is an office suite like MS Office, but it's free. It can save in all file types that MS supports (and then some) and has most of the features. It's 100% legal. Unfortunately, some people have trouble adjusting to the slightly different interface.

You could also look for a key/crack on the internet. I wouldn't advise this, since OpenOffice is right there for the taking, but hey, it's your choice.
