How do people get perfectly scrunched hair?

I have a question. Whenever I scrunch my hair, it gets wavy but not nice enough to look scrunched. When it's wet and scrunched, it just looks stringy or wet. When it's dry, it looks wavy and like I put gel in it. How do ppl get it so perfect?

do not use gel on your hair for a scrunched look that is not what the product is for using a product called "curls rock" by BED HEAD is a very good product to achieve this look depending on the length and thickness of your hair i would say three plunges of this product should do the trick after using this product through your hair use the defuser on your hair dryer putting your head upside down and placing sections of the hair into the defuser holding for a few minutes at a time do this all over your head and this should do it for you usng "curls rock" is quite a expensive product so if you are not willing to pay this a good moose gives the same effect.

Hi! I have the same problem. Ok so what I do is I wash my hair(preferably in the morning). Next , I add some hairspray. I love tresemme hairspray. Then I flip my head over. Oh before I forget make sure your hair is damp but not dripping wet. Next flip your head over. Grab some scrunching gel. Scrunch your hair hard. You can buy scrunching gel anywhere. Finally put your hair in little messy buns and add hairspray. Leave for about an hour and whoola scrunched hair! Hope I helped, Fi xxx
