Why does video cut off, HDMI, Blu-ray?

New blu ray player. I bought cheap HDMI cables from ebay. Problem is Video will cut off for 1-2 minutes, 2-3 times during a movie. The sound does not stop. Any insight is much obliged.

Maybe its not connected all the way. Check the connections and make sure its tightly on there. If not then maybe the wire is just crappy and the connectors are messed up. You can get one a walmart for about 20 dollars. maybe less even.
