Can a birth fly without his tail? help!!!?

I need an answer from a Vet or animal specialist.

My cat cached a birth, I was able to get it on time, and it looks very good, but doesn't have its tail. She has babies and would love to let it free but I cant until I know if it can fly so my cat doesn't get it again.

Or, How long do it take for his tail to grow?

PLEASE, HELP US !!!

Yes they can. But make sure there are no puncture wounds on her as if there are she needs vet or wildlife rehabber care. Cats have toxic bacteria in their saliva. If not then let her go back to her babes. She will not be able to fly as well but she can fly. Keep cat in or get a bell for collar to warn wildlife it is around.

Tail feathers are used for turning in air. She'll be limited so I'd put suet cake nearby nest. She can run up and down branches to get insects.

A bird's flight is dependant on his firsy 10 flight feathers located on his wings.

keep the cat inside, let the bird go, help as much as you can...if the babies are old enough and the mother can't feed them anymore you can feed them
