An infintie line of mathematicians enters a bar?

The first orders a beer. The second orders half a beer. The third orders a quarter of a beer. The fourth orders 1/8 of a beer and so on. What does the bartender do?

    The infinite sum is 1/(1-0.5) = 2 beers!

    He hands out 2 beers and tells the first guy to drink one. Then he instructs the next guy to drink half of the remaining beer and pass what remains to the next guy and give that guy exactly the same instructions.

    He charges each $1, quits his job, goes home, and lives happily ever after.
