How to expand a pair of leather shoes?

I have some room at the toes when I wear the new leather pumps, but my feet still feel very uncomfortable because the sides of the pumps are too narrow. Is there any way to expand the shoes? Thanks in advance for the useful advice!

use some moisturizing cream and wear them at home till they get soft
