Relieve sore muscles after workout!?

I just started going to the gym after almost 8 months. I haven't been lifting heavy weights since i need to loosen up my muscles. Tomorrow's my day off from the gym to get a break. How do speed up the healing process of sore muscles?

The best thing you can do is take a lot of protein. Protein is vital to muscles since it acts as a massive food source for them. You can either eat egg whites, or just drink some Whey Protein Shake sold at any store with a pharmacy.

    Got $200?

If so, then UnderArmour just came out yesterday with a clinically-researched recovery suit:

Otherwise, the best you can do is eat a steak, drink a creatine shake and get some rest.
