Finding a portrait artist, with pics.?

I am wanting to have a portrait of marilyn monroe done, and I've been going through my current artists portfolio and found a few portraits/more detailed work he's done. I've been happy with all his work he's done on me, very comfortable with him, etc, I'm just really thinking hard about who is going to do my portrait. I'm just interested in a second opinion, how do you guys think this looks? Keep shopping around or no?

    they're really good portraits. i would say if you want to go to LA or live around there and i guess wait a while because she's really popular, then go to Kat Von D. shes really good if you've watched LA ink, shes amazing for portraits.
