Why am I losing interest in Yahoo Answers ever since I've reached Level 5?

Yes, I think the questions here are more out of relevant and hard to understand this year then the previous years. I think if u want, u can answer only u find any question u seem to interested on answering on, or u can ask some questions to show what sort of question u think its more relevant to u in the Y! Answer.

I don't think level 5 has anything to do with it. A lot depends on your interests and where you're looking.

There are still some interesting questions being asked. I wasn't that active a year ago, so I can't comment on that.

My interests are all over the map so I surf many categories.

If you are limiting your categories that may be the answer to your question.

Also YA has a fairly narrow set of guidelines and a lot of questions are removed. That has caused a lot of members to look else where, and thank goodness, run off a lot of trolls.

The main reason for this Q/A forum is to teach/ learn, the two way tranfer of information. So entertainment is not really a viable criterium.

Having said that, the most entertaining to me are the polls and surveys and the singles and dating categories. Homework help can be hilarious.

You must maintain your self interest in whatever you do and level 5 is the hot time to reach L6 for a relax period as the gap is very wide to L7. Just pick the questions you like and throw out those you didn't have interest in. You can poke in with your questions to stir up the waves.

I guess it is your interest to continue answering questions posted in Yahoo Answer that will determine this. Maybe you have not set a goal for yourself in this forum.

everythign gets boring at a point in time. the quality of questions may also be less that it was in the begning.
