As in do U believe there will be other version of Windows in the future? Does Microsoft like to make money? I'm sure there will be as in all things a Newer faster brighter version some day. Just as a New Microsoft Office 10 is due out next year or sooner.
But for now there are of course 3 Versions of Windows 7, just as there are in most versions of Microsoft product with increasing cost to go with them of course.

After installing RTM I find the performance is a lot better, it has a more complete list of drivers it can install (installed 99% of all drivers for each of the systems I've used it on). There are several other changes also - but not major.
