If Comelec disqualifies all presidential bets?

With the Philippines being the Philippines, what Comelec is doing is forewarning the guilty candidates is to get ready with their ahem "donations/considerations"

Very theoretical.

Nicanor Perlas, Councilor JC, and Jamby won't exceed airtime because they have hardly any. They also don't have billboards because they do not have budgets for these. Or maybe they are not spending big-time because they know deep in their guts there is no chance of them winning, and are merely going thru the motion.

However, if ALL are disqualified for one reason or another, then the laws of succession will come into play. Because the president was elected to serve a fixed term, and the vice president has a term coinciding with the president, then the Senate President will be acting president until an election happens with qualified candidates. Next in line is the Speaker of the House, and then the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.

I don't think that will happen. But if ever it does, then, the vice-presidentiables will go a step higher and run as presidents themselves.

Comelec is all bark but no bite. They go on air and say they will go after candidates who have exceeded airing time. The question is: when will they do that? After the elections, I guess.

lol, its impossible. people will turn against comelec and there might be a civil war or martial law, plus we cant take gma anymore, we need a new honest leader

If that thing happened, then we will suffer again under GMA's Governance...
