Yes Carmax is good but remember never buy a used import sine the repair cost are through the roof and often need to have parts ordered leaving you stranded until they come in.

Carmax makes a boatload of money on taking in quality trades for under wholesale and then selling them for retail and not negotiating.

Carmax is fine and will treat you right as long as you don't mind paying retail for a used vehicle.

I would never recommend that. You can pay retail for a used vehicle, anywhwere, and they will be just as nice as the one's at Carmax.

Stay away from Planet Hyundai and Towbin Dodge/anything.

Henderson Hyundai seems to be pretty ethical and upfront. My sister lives in Las Vegas and we are negotiating with them, right now, on purchasing a 2011 Sonata.

CarMax gives you a 30 day warranty on every car, a 5 day return policy, and upfront pricing.

Every other car dealer will be the same. It is up to you whether you want to play their games, or be dealt with honestly at CarMax.

Source(s): Yeah, I work at CarMax. They're the best.

If you want used car experts, I say go to Carsala. The people there specialize in making the lives of people like you easier. Usually they can get 20-30% off the KBB value and get the car you want within days. Also, they will help you locate used cars in your area. Feel free to check them out at Carsala.com.
