Is Binay trying to be different?

PNoy is setting a good example by following traffic rules. Here's Binay doing the opposite: not stopping on red lights...turning left when the sign glaringly says NO LEFT TURN. What is Binay doing? Your thoughts, please. Thank you.

Update:

PNoy promised change and he does that by setting an example for others to emulate, even at the risk of his own security just to show he is serious in his intent. we all clamor for change/reforms, what better time to do that but now? I believe what he is doing is to demonstrate to all of us that we are all equals - walang presidente, walang "above the law".

why does binay act like he is above the law? why can't he wake up early just like noynoy instead of breaking traffic rules just to make it on time? now he is even asking for his own presidential house...we have the makings of another traditional politician on his way to abusing his power...he is a bad example to the filipino people...if he cant be responsible on SMALL things, how can he be responsible on much bigger things? simula palang, lamangero kana Binay...UMAYOS KA

Ganyan kayo sa makati? Traffic violators? What a shame.

You know Ms. AP, I was watching the news the other day, and it featured Noynoy as he was being escorted by the PSGs amidst traffic. I know that it was the moral thing to do - which is to set up the example for everyone else to follow - but it made me feel really uncomfortable. Do you think it is just okay for our president to get stuck in traffic everytime he goes out in the streets? Wala lang, parang sayang lang, considering the present state ng bansa, im sure there are a lot of things na pwede nyang gawin on those hours wasted on traffic. And not to mention the risks on his life ng ganung sistema, just imagine the chaos that it would bring if he got assassinated dahil nakaipit sha sa traffic. And the campaign against wangwang is a bit shallow too, if you'd ask me..im actually for it, kaya lang parang bitin. At the rate that the president is going right now (and not to mention lagi pa shang nadedelay ng traffic), kulang ang 6 year term nya, to effect any significant change sa bansa.

On Binay's case, he may be covered by immunity, and there are privileges that come with the seat that he is now occupying, pero I guess he had to be decent and discreet about it, wag namang ganun kagarapal, otherwise these acts could be construed as a 'rebellion' against his president lol (I smell an LQ between them actually)

Quite the opposite really. He is trying to be normal. Like all the normal politicians elected and appointed into public office.

I agree PNoy is setting a good example but this will take some time for as far as I was a kid back in the 70s, this kind of thing has been happening all over the country.

Every Filipino should do their part and videotape stuff like this and send it to the proper authorities.

simple lang, Binay just want to show the entire people of the Philippines that he is above the law and power is running deep down his veins. how can we trust someone like Binay to be a good public servant if he himself CAN NOT or doesn't even know the meaning of the word DESCIPLINE. How would you trust such a leader to execute all his promises during the election when simple traffic rules he can break. Yes, as Binay would say "ganito kami sa Makati", i think it literally means that in Makati, Binay clan does what they want whether it is good or bad, as long as their wishes are their command...of course they are the "KINGS" of Makati City...now people would we want the entire RP to be their "KINGDOM"? I hope not!

No surprise there. I didn't vote for him for the simple reason that, despite what all his campaign ads tried to project about his image during the election. Binay WAS, IS and always will BE a Trapo.

As the saying goes "You can't teach an old dog new tricks". Don't worry, give it time and Noynoy will be doing the same thing. He's a Filipino isn't he? They are all the same. NO discipline !!!!!!! that's why it's important that you check out these links so that u can see what happens when u dont' have any discipline:

I think he's not trying to be different but he is trying to be like many people who doesn't follow simple rules.

He just want to be their leader.

    -------^O^-------

I did not see the footage but I think It's all about breaking the rules. Yes, he is a great example of a law violator.

The footage shows he's violating the law, he should be arrested and tried in court. Nobody is above the law.

WYSIWYG - or what you see is what you get as they say. They do have different "management styles" if you could term it that. So if you plan on having JB as prexy in 2016 then you know what he will be doing.

    Hi AP!
