My tattoo is in the peeling stage, quick question about it!?

My tattoo started peeling today. For the first few days I used a&d and now im using unscented lotion. When I rub the lotion in tons of skin comes off which I know is normal. I know Im not supposed to pick or scratch it, but is it okay if I rub a lot of the peeling skin off? Its so tempting to do lol

It is perfectly normal for your skin to peel and flake off. During the healing process, the top few layer of your dead skin flakes off, revealing fresh new skin underneath. As long as you DON'T pick off the larger scabs off, is washing the area often, keeping it aired out, and putting moisturizing lotion on, your tattoo will heal up just fine. If your tattoo gets itchy, try using a bag of ice on top of it, or smacking the area gently. DO NOT scratch the area no matter what!!!

Do not rub it off, tempting as it may be you will regret it :P

Dab at your tattoo, never rub it and this is the sa,e as picking at it, your still peeling off skin. Try not to touch it at all, just dab on the lotion and leave it be :)

Dab the cream on gently and in very light layers rather than rubbing it on.

And DO NOT pick it, even if it is already peeling off.
