A points card represents what is essentially online currency for buying arcade games, game add-ons, videos, themes for your xbox, or clothes for your avatar.

Gamerscore just represents your achievements, and nothing can actually be done with it.

A silver membership is a fancy way of saying "not gold".

It is the default membership, and you can never be below it. It just means you can't play online, or get some of the better deals.

a points card is a microsoft points card you can use these cards to go to the gameing marketplace and download classic or new arcade games or new backround for when you start up your xbox general stuff like that most people buy game add ons with it which can also be found in the marketplace. your gamerscore is the measure of achivements achivements show how devoted you are to a game or how hard youve worked at it. its nothing to really be concerned about its for like people that are serious gamers or for people that are looking for something challenging like ebating the game on the hardest difficulty. hope this helped

The Gold Card gives you a gold online membership, which gives you access to multiplayer gaming. Microsoft points are a form of cash for the XBL marketplace, where you can buy game DLC (new map packs, primarily) and flair for your 360 (new skins for your home screen or your avatar).

Gamerscore (G) is simply a status symbol. As you play games, you can earn achievements - beat a level on the hardest setting, get a sneaky assassination, etc. Depending on their difficulty, you'll earn varying amounts of gamerscore, usually around 50g but some can be 5 or even 250g.

    EDIT: Thumbs down? For what?

  • Ok So Microsoft Points you can use to buy stuff on the Xbox marketplace such as games and movies.

And Gamerscore is a summary of all your achivements that you will unlock buy playing games.

It will all make sence when you start playing dude.

    :)
