People, would you rather have a masculine, feminine or an androgynous wife/husband?

My partner is physically totally feminine but psychologically quite androgynous - she doesn't subscribe at all to narrow gender roles and prescriptions. I appreciate that.

I want a wife who has as few "masculine," "feminine," or "androgynous" traits as possible.
I don't think there's necessarily a single word for a woman who looks sexy but rejects traditional gender roles - without trying to overcompensate by, I don't know, taking up chewing tobacco and the rodeo. But that's what I'm looking for.

Masculine. That is, my husband pertains to the male. He is a man, he has male sexual organs and has a birth certificate that states he is a male.
I don't know what a feminine or androgynous husband or wife would be.

Feminine wife. If I wanted an androgynous wife, then it would mean I wouldn't mind dating a feminine looking emo dude, since a boyish girl is basically the same thing without the penis.

Perceptions of feminimininity and masculinity vary greatly per person, so it's hard to answer this. I would like a girl who can kick @$$, but not for the wrong reasons. She should also be smart- at least, smarter than me. And she better like to cuddle! GOD HELP YOU ALL IF SHE DOESN'T LIKE TO CUDDLE!

I wouldn't mind any of them, as long as they aren't winning the stereotype of the year award. Though If I had to choose, I'd say an androgynous one :)

Masculinity and femininity are usually generalizations, and matters of opinion.

Masculine husband, definately.

Masculine in touch with his feminine side? I'm pretty sure *I* know what I mean by masculine, and I'm pretty sure what YOU mean by it is something different, though.

Say, what?
