blackberry curve 9300 email setup?

ok so santa was nice and got me a blackberry for christmas :D

i'm trying to set up my email account but its only giving me one option,the one about Blackberry Enterprise Server and i don't have a password :/ what's the difference between BES and the other option where i set up my own email accounts?

also can i get on the internet without wifi??thanks

    You need to have a BlackBerry data for the BlackBerry Internet Service option to show up. Once your plan is set the option will appear.

    You can go on the internet if it's included in your plan.

    Call your service provider and add data to your account.
