Invited to a bridal shower, the gift is suggested to be money. How much should I give.?

I am on low wages and I probably will have to give a weedding gift too. I am a working staff for these people. I am not a relative.

    I'd say an etiquette book because its extremely rude to ask for money as a gift.

    Anyway, give what you can reasonably afford, your relationship with them isn't a factor, what you can afford is.

    15-30... Im cheap toooo.. I give everyone either 20 or buy something around/at 20

    It's SUGGESTED to be money, not required.

    Just give a wedding gift.
