GATEWAY MODEL NO. :W350I wifi on/off switch?

ok so as you can see i need info on this particular models wifi on/off switch, my mom has this computer but the on off switch fell out years ago, and she managed to need it turned back on. however, this model , (of course) is not the classic, slider inside deal, or this would have been fixed a while ago, i would rather not have to open up the whole computer, and take out the motherboard jsut for this, but if it comes to that i guess i have no choice. but any info on this would be great, ideas maybe, and something i cannot find for the life of me, a picture of said switch would make this much easier as well (seeing as how with a visual of the part i could recreate what it /used/ to do fairly easily.

ok well, no, if you didnt read, which you obviously didnt, i can fix this by opening it up, obviously you guys arent much for tech savvy, so ill say it again, i will just open it up and fix it which is now what im going to do if #1 there that posted that website cant get me the part i need, ill check that out first before i open it up i suppose

    Quickest, cheapest and easiest would be to buy a external wireless USB or card type adapter install it and the software that comes with the devise and set up the wireless / WiFi connection and you do not use or need the lap tops wireless switch.

    Your only other option would be to replace and or repair the internal wireless switch.

    I use a wireless USB and a card adapter on a older lap top with no problems, works for installing wireless on a desk top with out wireless also.

    Go to tigerdirect.com and input laptop info. Google for others with same info.
