How to make the most out of a one-day Hong Kong Disneyland visit?

So, me, my mom and my sister, all are young and young-at-heart, first time abroad from SE Asia and whose English is good enough at least to ask for direction around the place.

This is going to be our once-in-a-lifetime trip so I’d like to plan every detail. I’ve prepared notebook and pencil and camera for a picture journal. I’m most definitely in love with every Disney animated classics. Top of the list includes: Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse, the Lion King, Tarzan, Belle and Ariel.

Can we have it all in just one day, since we’re in a stricly scheduled city tour? Any much-recommended games, sight-seeing spots? How should we get around? Should we hop on a train, or walk clockwise/counterclockwise from the main entry? I learn that they have parade and firework show every single day, so where to have the best view of those? I know that doing my own research is important, but any experience, impression sharing would be deeply appreciated. Guaranteed at least a thumb-up for every answer. Thank you guys! :D

Hong Kong Disneyland is rather small when compared to the Disneyland in California. I don't think you'll have any problems seeing the park and events in one day unless it happens to be a day that is super-crowded.

A piece of advice? Don't plan every detail. Yes, know when the shows are and when characters are out for photos, but allow yourself some "slack" time to simply relax and enjoy. You're on vacation, not a rocket launch, so it's okay if you simple "go with the flow."

(Main Street is the place to be for the parade. You'll have to get their early, though, to get a seat. Go to http://park.hongkongdisneyland.com/hkdl/en_US/home... for details on the park and for ideas on what to do there.)

    Enjoy your trip.

HK Disney is just small compare those in other countries. U can try all the rides in one day no worry. u can stil use ur fast pass to register in some games if they hv a Q there. every entry tix can hv 2 times fast pass. if u can, avoid going Sat, Sun. as it's summer holiday now in HK. many HKnese also go during w.end time. if u r going there during w.days....at least a bi better. n super hot in HK during summer..... better wear a hat + sunglasses. hide into those air-cond restaurants or gift's shop fr time to time.

yes they do hv parade + fireworks daily. for parade, u can see on the main street easily. fireworks, it's rite in front of the castle.

choose for the bigger attractions in Disneyland Tokyo The climate there is extra beneficial too, different than for being extra spacious No harm finding out the Disneyland-HK for the experience however ....
