    There is not enough information to answer this question. The descriptions says nothing about how the triangle fits into the circle. Maybe the circle is 3 miles wide. It doesn't say that the triangle's points touch the circle's perimeter, so we can not assume that it does. When you assume, you make and 'a s s' out of 'u' and 'me'.

    Maybe if it said "what is the minimum radius of the circle", then we could answer it as we know the triangle must be inscribed (i.e. completely) within the circle.
