When does a girl normally say "We have so much in common"?
A girl (later I found out the was trying use me to get her stuff done) once told me "we have so much in common". I know she was not exactly flirting with me since I am not the kind of guy anyone will fall in love with or have a crush on. So, my guess is either she wanted me to fall in love with her to get more of her work done and to use me more or just wanted me to be excited about having a new friend. I am not upset about her using me any more, but I was just curious as to why she would have said that.
my conclusion that she was using me was not based on this line. Later on I did find out with good evidence that she was making use of many of her friends.
And i did give her a reply. I just wanted to know if this was a part of getting attention.

to get something from you or she just wants a bf really bad, or she is just dropping a hint that she just wants to be friends

Don't be a mat. Just say "How strange! Why would someone say that?" Shake your head and turn away.
