Red mushroom from Fujian, China -- is it edible? What are the health benefits?

I have bought some red mushrooms from Fujian Province of China at the Hakka " Tu Lou". I wonder whether they are safe for comsumption and what are the health benefits or dangers to eating it?

    You have to be careful with mushrooms and it would help if you knew what they were called. Here are just two types of red ones that can be eaten Red reishi and Lingzhi except they're not Fujian.

    Well I'm not an expert but I do know that the Chinese use a lot of different mushrooms for cooking and medicine. I also know that there are a lot of poisonous mushrooms out there that look like edible ones.

    I would tread carefully, just make sure you know what you got.
