Feeding my 8mo yogurt?

My son is 8 months old and I wanted to introduce him to yogurt since my understanding is he is old enough for yogurt and cheese at this stage. I'm just unsure of which kind to give. Obviously it will be plain at first but idk if I should give him the Gerber yogurt or like plain yoplait with the probiotics. Which should I give? Thank you!

Update:

I'm sorry I meant active cultures not probiotics *

Whole fat yogurt is best if you can find it. If not -- any brand that you can find locally is fine. Just avoid those with artfiical sweetners. He doesn't need fancy probiotics.

Any type that has the full fat in it. They have the yo baby brand you can find right next to the yogurt in the dairy section. I gave my daughter the Gerber stuff for a bit but now I dont waste the money, and give her regular yogurt!

You can give any yogurt that is full fat. Even regular yopiat kind. That's the kind I gave my son to start with.

When mine were small I bought the Yo Baby brand made for babies. It is in fridge case right with other yogurts if store carries it.
