criminal record or is he in more trouble?
my friend recently sent a horrible email to my ex girlfriend after she cheated on me.she put on facebook that she reported it to the police and they would track his i.p address.how much trouble will he get into if they find out it was him?
no,they can track down the i.p address it was sent from.she knows it was from my hometown...

Can't prove it was him, she's just trying to **** you up.
You shouldn't get your friend to do it for you, also it's better to talk face to face rather than go down those roads.

Unless the email was regarded as obscene (and even being obscene may not be relevent cos e-mails could be regarded as private communication) then absolutely nothing , cos he has not committed an offence
(and if it aint obscene then she is a dumba//ss claiming she has told the police and they would track his ip address, cos there is no way the police would be interested)
