Hillsboro Oregon, what's it like for an Asian couple?

Q1:

I'm of Chinese descent (not from China, never been there), & I've been offered a job in Hillsboro Oregon. Do the locals have a problem with Asians? I tried to google for info but nothing came up until I came acorss Chinese Massacre Cove. But that was back in the 1800s, do they still hate Chinese?

Q2:

Assuming I accept the job offer, I'll have to look for an apartment, which towns should I stay away from.

    Do the locals have a problem with Asians?----The area is full of asians, especially in Beaverton, since the refugees from southeast asia started showing up in the mid 70s. This includes stores, and churches.Which towns should I stay away from?----Coos Bay, Coquille and Myrtle Point. They're full of meth heads.

    Remember that there is a large Asian community on the west coast, well established since the 1800s.

    It's Oregon not Alabama, I think you'd be fine anywhere around there
