Childproofing the cords for the window blinds?
I need to find something the keep the cords for my blinds up and out of reach of my 1 year old but I can't find anything for it. If anyone knows where to find something like that please let me know. Or if you have a safe solution to keeping those out of reach I would appreciate it! Thank you!
Adelle of course hes showing Interest in the cords. He's always wanted to play with string over his toys. I do tell him no. But he just turned one. He's goes back to It in less than a minutes. They have warnings that kids can be strangled by them and since he's so interested I do want to take caution .. sorry I'm so cautious about the safety of my child........

Is your 1 year old showing interest in those cords? Have you tried to simply say No? I am a bit concerned about some people going way beyond necessity to child prove their homes... I have two children; no kidding they NEVER got to anything naughty! Never! I was just watching them and saying No so they learned to play with toys and not something that doesn't belong to them. They were curious about everything of course, but approached things like blinds cords (for example) with caution and No was enough to stop them touching it. Try that!

They have cord proof try target baby r us or me and mine is 6 still puts it in her mouth so take the cord and hang it up high with a push pin

I think you can get plastic tubey thing (sorry haven't really researched this) and it goes round the cord so you can twist it instead of pull it. or cut the cord were it loops and tie a big knot in the end.

They have them in the baby section at most stores such as walmart and toys r us. They will be with the rest of the child proofing supplies.
