Why do so many people come on this site and expect strangers too do their homework for them?
I've only been looking over the questions for one day, and I've seen people asking for detailed analysis-with citations-of various items. Are they incapable of doing their own research?

I don't think they are so much asking for people to 'do their homework' but maybe asking for tips. Maybe someone else has studied the same topic/area before and has some knowledgable and helpful info for them. Or maybe they are just trying their luck with who will answer with full details.

Either they are to lazy to do it, or it is really hard for them. It may also take quite some time to find the right information using google scrolling through pages and pages of results.

In some cases you certainly can Google it, but individual experience is helpful in some cases.

They are, but they need help. Internet can't be trusted so they might need answers from REAL people. I hope this helped.
