    I'm a master fryer.

    The best method I used is to season flour with salt, pepper, and whatever other special seasonings of your choice. I prefer dill weed, little-known it works very very well with fried food. You say you used salt and it still didn't work. Well that's because you have to put enough of it to actually taste it.

    Coat the chicken in flour, then dip it egg wash (consisting of egg and milk. half cup of milk for two eggs. 3/4 cup for three. the egg wash is what you would put any spicy components in such as spicy seasonings or hot sauces). Let the excess run off then re-coat it with flour again. From there you just plop it in the hot oil (which should be around 350 degrees) til golden brown. Never fry thick coated chicken til the meat is fully cooked because to get it that far, you would have to burn the batter coating. So only fry it til it's golden brown, put all the chicken on an oven pan covered with tin foil and sprayed with cooking spray and toss it in the oven using the same temperature. Bake it til the meat is fully cooked through.

    Too prevent your hands from getting too too dirty, use one hand as the (wet hand) and one as the (dry hand) when preparing the chicken. That meaning use one hand for touching the wet chicken and egg wash, use the other hand for the flour part. If you constantly put flour covered hands on wet chicken and in egg wash, the flour will mix with the moisture on your hands causing it to cake and you'll have less to coat the chicken with because you'll be washing all the flour into the sink while cleaning your hands.

    Add some Adobo to the breading. Adobo can be found in the ethnic aisle and it has a lot of spices in it including salt. Try this, I don't see why you can't deep fry this as opposed to baking.

    ~~~~~< CHICKEN - KFC, OVEN FRIED >~~~~~
    24 oz chicken thighs 1 C buttermilk
    2 T Accent
    FLOUR MIXTURE:
    1 C flour 2 T paprika 1/2 t garlic salt
    1 1/2 t dry mustard 1 1/2 t ground thyme 1 1/2 t ground basil
    1/2 t oregano 1 1/2 t ground ginger 1/2 t onion powder
    BREAD CRUMB MIXTURE:
    1 C bread crumbs 1 T salt 1 T pepper
    1/4 t cayenne pepper
    REMAINING:
    1/4 C oil
    Wash chicken and blot dry. Add buttermilk in large bowl and add Accent, mixing well. Add chicken and marinate in fridge at least 2 hours. Preheat oven to 400F. Add flour mixture ingredients into another large bowl with cover. Then add bread crumb mixture to a 3rd bowl. Remove chicken from milk marinade and shake off excess liquid. Dip chicken into the flour mixture, cover and shake. Then dip in bread crumbs and put on a tray. Put tray in fridge for at least 2 hours to allow coatings to set.
    Heat oil in heavy skillet to 325F and brown coated chicken on both sides. And put on tray for oven. Bake at 400F for 30 minutes.
    Season the chicken. Season the flour. Season the breading, or use seasoned store-bought breading.
    The seasonings I use are: Salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika (REALLY good on chicken)
    Use FEB to coat your chicken..
    Flour.
    Egg.
    Breading.
    ~ Then, let it sit for 20 minutes. Now, fry.
    Baste Chicken Before Frying
    Before coating chicken with flour mixture, baste chicken with a tasty sauce or dressing. Some choices include hot sauce (for hot and spicy fried chicken), mustard (for chicken with a kick), Italian dressing or sweet/sour sauce.
    Marinade Chicken
    Before frying chicken, try marinading it. First, clean chicken and place it in a resealable bag, baking pan or storage container. Pour marinade over chicken and store in refrigerator overnight. Some tasty marinade options include teriyaki sauce, sweet tea, lemonade, buttermilk and orange juice. Before frying, baste chicken with marinade again for added flavor.
    Season Chicken With Unique Spices
    Try adding some new spices or herbs to your recipe for a change in taste. Dried mustard, cinnamon, ginger, cayenne pepper, rosemary, oregano and thyme can add strong flavor to fried chicken.
    Good luck!
    Add salt, pepper, chilli powder, cayenne pepper, any herbs, garlic powder, and/ or onion powder. Any or all of the above will help a lot :)
    Try herbs, garlic, paprika, rosemary, curry powder.
    My children love it when I fill it: I cut it and fill in cheese and ham. I think in English it's Chicken Cordon Bleu. I dont use cream or broth, just tasty enought without.
