Picking a food processor?

My wife needs a new food processor. She had a middle of the line Ninja and one of the blades broke. She really never likes it because the heavy motor was on top and it really didn’t do that good of a job. She doesn’t want a full featured Processor because she has a good bread maker and she rarely bakes if ever. She wants a 6 to 9 cup but no bigger so she can make things like salsa and would like it to be able to slice with it also. I looked up many reviews and the more I look the more confused I get. I see that Cuisinart dominates the food processor market but I don’t want to spend money on something she is not going to use. Can I get some suggestions from someone that has experience with this?

From experience leave it up to her as she will be the user primarily and will know what was wrong with the one she has and probably is aware of a model she would like anyway. Your role would be about the finance side, and whether the pair of you can afford it if that matters
