I have a friend who just got diagnosed with Lyme disease after about 3 years of being very sick..?

Ive watched this normally strong guy wither away over this time and he has lost all of what his life was and is totally unable to work , im helping him apply for SSI in order to keep him from becoming homeless aswell. any sound advice on how we should approach this ? i very concerned that if he does not get some financial help he will lose what little he has left,, do chronic lyme disease sufferers have a hard time getting SSI

    Apply at ssa.gov everyone has issues gettong approved get a.disability lawyer to help

    Call Social Security and ask them all your questions, you do not have to give your name, they are very nice and glad to help.
