New war with Syria, Yeah! Seriously, is anyone enthusiasticly for Obama and our Congress authorizing ...?

.... our military to attack Syria? Obama comes from the party of peace, and anti war. Now he is becoming a warmonger and hardly anyone who ususally stands up against war is holding him accountable. Do you think this is a good idea and if so why?

No i dont. because russia is allies with syria... and there is women and children involved. so by going in there we would only be doing more damage. if american boots touch syria, i honestly think obama will be impeached. which i hope will happen,.

2008 Presidential Candidate John McCain gave the foreign policy speech at the 2010 Republican Nominating Convention and said America should be at war against 5 countries. Count them, five. Had McCain won in 2008 or his boy Romney in 2010, that is where we would be today. Obama has just suggested 1 of the 5, which makes him only 20% of a war monger. And the action authorization he requested against Syria falls short of a national mobilization for war. so really he is a 20% "almost a war" monger.

The credible threat that the US could act against Syria is the one and only reason Assad has offered a surrender of his chemical weapons. Obama will accept a surrender without there being a war if needed.

Obama is supporting the rebels. Giving them arms and training.

We are already involved and have been for Two Years!

Maybe we don't have boots on the ground (except for those involved in the training and support ) but isn't that how US involvement in Vietnam got started by JFK?

The reality is: Obama's Administration has been planning this for a long time. This is his excuse.

The real question is: What is Obama's motive or objective?

I watched the speech quietly last night, but it didn't really pull me in the President's direction. I have to say I hope the Syrians allow the United Nations to take their chemical weapons.
