my mum puts doubts in my mind?

Okay, so yesterday I met with this girl everything went great but my stupid mum is putting doubts in my head and now I'm starting to worry. Basically this girl texted me saying I miss you and my mum goes she could just be saying that and she also texted me saying she is worried about me and my mum also said she just saying that

Don't listen to your mother. Who knows what her ego is. Might not want her little boy to be dating just yet.

Either way, what you and this girl talk about should be private. Your mother should not be giving you input on everything she says. That's just... weird...

Your mother might have some "method to her madness", as they say. She might just be trying to make you more guarded. To not just fall in love the moment a girl shows interest in you. And she is right in a sense. Let your feelings flourish when you feel it's right, and not blindly force it. It may end up hurting you, but that's how you learn to be more careful with who you share your inner thoughts with. And your mom is trying to make you avoid that pain. You can't, all of us need to scrape our knees a few times before we get the hang of loving someone else. I see what your mom is doing, and she really does care for you (if that is what her intentions are, they should be though), but you shouldn't let her input change what you think.

Take it into consideration, but go your own way. Don't let her thoughts make you have doubts about this girl. If you like her, keep playing it out. Enjoy it, and don't let doubt consume you. The last time I listened to my mother about dating girls, I ended up missing so many opportunities just because I wanted to please my mother. Don't make the same mistake I did. Just keep going for it, let your instincts do the talking.
