Girls say looks does not matter when it does!?

Everyone, regardless of gender or sexual orientation is more likely to be initially 'attracted' (either romantically or as a friend' if the other person is good looking. This is only for first impressions, once you get to know the person that goes out the window.

Looks don't really matter when you're looking to date someone, but they do matter for initial impressions.

You would hopefully not date anyone that you didn't know anyway.

If you're average looking and have a great personality you're more likely to get a quality girl than a hot guy with a terrible personality. (also notice how I said "quality")

And also with your experiment, you went for both extremes - ugly and hot. You didn't try average.

Even if you're nice, it's a little harder to get someone to date you if you're ugly.

Generally speaking though, if you're clean and take care of yourself you're not likely to be legitimately 'ugly'.

Look, looks matter a lot! Without looks no one will come near someone, let alone wanting to be friends with them. This is my experience. But you have to have manners and respect towards girls too, the 'nice guy' behavior. If the girl is being rude towards you without any reason than point it out to instead of arguing. I'm a guy btw.

Well you can meet people and like them for there personality, and them not be good looking. But if you have to look at them for the rest of your life would you want to be looking at something nice but be a rude b**ch. Or be with her and her not be all that but really cool? Just the way it is, personality is 35% looks is 65% to be honest. Only girl's who like you for you go off of personality and that is a very small amount of girls. You'll find the girls who go off of personality later in life when i say that i mean older women young girls only really want looks.

I think that personality is more important than how a man looks but looks do matter. One must be attracted to the other. It takes a balance of mind and body to find the right person.

it's very strange, I met a girl a long time ago and thought she looked mmm ok, we were just friends in a group, the more i got to know her the more I liked her and the prettier she looked, it was very strange and the day I married her she looked beautiful and still does. personality plays a very big part.

Well i think theres someone for everyone like one person might find me attractive and another person won't. So at the end of the day everyone will find someone that they find attractive so i don't think it really matters. But looks are a really big thing to girls. Like you have to find them attractive in your own way.
