Porter Cable compressor keeps filling until it blows the pressure safety valve.?

It's a model c2002 type 7 and the tank pressure gets to little over 150 PSI and then it blows the safety valve. I have just replaced the pressure switch and it is still doing it. Any idea what the cause could be?

Sounds like the PSV is not set correctly. Also the operating pressure switches appear to be set incorrectly since they should stop the compressor at 150 psi or slightly less.

Turned out the PSV was bad and weakened causing to blow prematurely
