If I move, can I transfer my TX car title to LA if it has a lien?

    Yes. The lien will automatically transfer to the new title. They do a search for liens before issuing a title.

    You don't need to transfer the title, just the registration.

    You sure can. Just make sure the lienholder knows where you now live.
